Line Sales Training Exam (test series ID # HP0-019) at an Authorized Sylvan Prometric
Testing Center.

Passing the Test
The Compaq StorageWorks Full Line Sales Training Exam (test series ID # HP0-019) is targeted at testing your knowledge of Compaq business-class StorageWorks products
and sales opportunities. The exam is a closed book, 25 question, multiple-choice test that
must be completed within 1 hour. To achieve a passing score, you must answer 20 of the 25 questions correctly (80% is the passing score). If you:
• Can answer the questions in this self-assessment guide
• Have an in-depth understanding of primary and secondary storage markets
• Have practical experience as a professional sales consultant selling Compaq
Storageworks products
• Have participated in formal Storageworks training classes, and
• Are familiar with enterprise-class customer storage needs,
you will be more likely to achieve a passing score on the Compaq StorageWorks Full
Line Sales Training exam.

Test Location

The Compaq StorageWorks Full Line Sales Training Exam is delivered at Sylvan
Prometric Centers, the world’s largest provider of testing to the IT industry.

Preparing for the Compaq Certification Exam

Compaq highly recommends that students attend Course 559: Compaq StorageWorks Full Line Sales Training instructor-led class or Compaq StorageWorks Full Line Sales Web-based Training in preparation for the exam.

In addition, test analysis conducted by Compaq and Sylvan Prometric clearly show that a comprehensive course of class attendance, self-study, and review greatly increases an individual’s chances of successfully passing the certification exam on the first attempt. Testing Procedures

• Sylvan Prometric provides registration and scheduling services Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Central Time, excluding holidays observed by Sylvan Prometric.

• Upon registration, Sylvan Prometric will provide you with instructions regarding your appointment, cancellation procedures, ID requirements and a choice of testing center locations.

• To change or cancel an appointment, you must notify the Sylvan Prometric Registrar
at least one business day prior to your scheduled appointment by 7p.m. CST.

Recommended Time for Testing
Testing statistics prove that 70% of all certification exams are passed when students
take their test 3 to 7 days after class attendance. This amount of time typically provides adequate study time and allows testing to take place while the information is still fresh.
On the converse, the same statistics show over an 80% failure rate for students
attempting their exam immediately after a class or if they wait more than 2 weeks after class completion.

Examination Day
Arrive at the testing site at least 15 minutes before the test is scheduled to sign in. Bring two forms of identification:
• Picture ID such as a driver’s license or company security badge.

• Major credit card, social security card, or passport.

Pass/Fail Notification
Upon completion of your exam at an Authorized Sylvan Prometric Testing Center, you
will receive immediate, on-line notification of your pass/fail status. You will also receive a certified report indicating your pass/fail status and your exam results by section (where appropriate). Your individual test scores will be automatically “uploaded” to the Compaq University database where your training history is recorded. Compaq typically receives your exam results within five (5) business days from the date the test was taken.
