This exam is for candidates that run Exchange 2000 Server on Compaq hardware in medium to very large computing environments with one year of
job experience administering Microsoft Exchange environments and Compaq hardware and options.

In addition to these prerequisites, HP assumes that you have basic administrative knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, including a
working knowledge of Internet protocols such as Post Office Protocol version
3 (POP3) or Internet Message Access Protocol version 4 (IMAP4), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), and Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP).
