This exam is for MSA1000 support personnel with minimum 6 months experience in an MSA1000 support role. Examples of job roles:

General areas of content include storage fundamentals and technologies, the StorageWorks product line, MSA1000 troubleshooting and replacement, and MSA1000 subsystem installation, configuration, and upgrade.
Certification requirements
The Supporting the MSA1000 and SCSI JBODs (HP1-238) exam is one of the core requirements to be certified as an Accredited Platform Specialist.
